Octobre 2026 – 🌍 Quoi de neuf du côté d'ODM ? 🌍

🌍Mission d’enseignement de neurologie en Côte d’Ivoire : départ imminent !  Depuis cet été, la préparation des prochains cours de neurologie à l’INFAS d’Abidjan bat son plein, en collaboration avec la Société Ivoirienne d’Orthophonie. Sandra Chaulet, orthophoniste et psychologue spécialisée en neuropsychologie, et Roxane Kouamé, orthophoniste au CHU d’Angré à Abidjan, co-construisent un programme adapté à la réalité locale : mise à jour des contenus théoriques, création d’une banque de cas cliniques ivoiriens et intégration de travaux dirigés pratiques pour mieux accompagner les étudiants. Formalités administratives validées, démarches de santé effectuées… L’organisation logistique s’achève pour démarrer dès lundi cette mission de transmission et d’échanges confraternels : départ demain !

Neurology teaching mission in Côté d’Ivoire : imminent departure ! 🌍  Since this summer, preparations for the upcoming neurology courses at INFAS in Abidjan have been in full swing, in collaboration with the Ivorian Society of Speech-Language Pathology. Sandra Chaulet, a speech-language pathologist and psychologist specializing in neuropsychology, and Roxane Kouamé, a speech-language pathologist at Angré University Hospital in Abidjan, are jointly developing a program tailored to local conditions: updating theoretical content, creating a database of Ivorian clinical cases, and incorporating practical tutorials to better support the students. With administrative formalities completed and health requirements met… Logistical preparations are wrapping up so that this mission of knowledge transfer and professional exchange can begin on Monday: we’re leaving tomorrow!

🌍Une nouvelle mission ODM à Djibouti Marie Pierre Fétiveau, qui a déjà fait plusieurs missions avec ODM, part à Djibouti, du 21 novembre au 3 décembre 2026, afin de poursuivre le partenariat avec l’association Souna Al Haya . Cette association vient en aide à des enfants porteurs de TND, la première mission avait eu lieu en 2023, nous poursuivons notre collaboration pour mettre à jour et renforcer les compétences des enseignants des centres accueillant les jeunes.

A new ODM mission in Djibouti🌍  Marie Pierre Fétiveau, who has already completed several missions with ODM, is traveling to Djibouti from November 21 to December 3, 2026, to continue the partnership with the Souna Al Haya association. This organization provides support to children with TND; the first mission took place in 2023, and we are continuing our collaboration to update and strengthen the skills of teachers at the centers that serve these young people.

Dans le cadre du développement de son réseau solidaire, ODM lance un nouvel appel, à destination des orthophonistes susceptibles de s’engager ponctuellement dans des actions de soutien. Celles-ci pourraient consister à réaliser des bilans et/ou des prises en soins orthophoniques, de manière bénévole et ponctuelle, auprès de personnes n’ayant pas de couverture sociale (ou en attente), c’est-à-dire sans accès aux dispositifs de prise en charge des soins, en lien avec leur statut administratif en France. These activities may involve conducting assessments and/or providing speech-language therapy on a volunteer and ad hoc basis to individuals who lack health insurance coverage (or are awaiting coverage)—that is, those without access to healthcare services due to their administrative status in France.
